My electronic portfolio serves several purposes. First, this page will
allow me to post critical information regarding my teaching ability.
Following the links below you can access my teaching philosophy, my
teaching style, information on course materials, and feedback from
colleagues and eventually students. All of these links represent
information about my teaching abilities. Second, this page
allows me to present information about myself including my curriculum
vitae, research interests, and my personal blog page. Finally, being
able to link this page to my reflective teaching blog, allows me to
post reflective information about my teaching, classes, and course
experiences.
About Me
Hi, my name is Ms. Jolene M. Sitzman, but you can call me
Ms. Jo (Sorry my picture is so blurry). I am a graduate student at Ball
State University in the
Cognitive and Social Processes Master's Program. This program is within
the Department of Psychology at Ball State University. I am currently
entering my second year within this program, and I'm excited about the
experiences that I have had. In my first year I was able to gain
research experiences and mentoring experience through my graduate
assistantship duties. During my second year I will be able to gain
multiple teaching experiences by being a teaching assistant for two
different professors. Next year I plan to finish my degree and continue
on to receive my doctorate in a cognition or personality program. A
little bit of information about my personal side, I will be getting
married this coming September to my wonderful boyfriend of six years.
We are very excited to be sharing this experience with our family and
friends. In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, watching movies,
playing board games, baking, and shopping. Please feel free to read
more about my personal side in my personal blog below. To personally
contact me please see my contact information on my reflective teaching
blog page. Thanks!
